When the homeport current prediction says you will have 2.5kts at 270 degrees, does that mean the current is coming from 270 degrees or going toward 270 degrees. I looked everywhere in the program and can't find an explanation. And of course, it makes a big difference in a race. ;)
The standard convention is that wind directions are "From", and all other directions are "To". This means that a current of 270 degrees is heading to the west.
