New user here. I’m up to speed with the basics, but a bit lost when it comes to transferring data. Perhaps you could point me in the right direction.
Here is my “workflow”. I make up routes etc at home, save to data card, upload to 5212, go boating. While boating I enter more waypoints and routes. I save to data card, bring home, edit the waypoint names, delete a few but not all tracks, add more new waypoints, and start the whole process again.
What commands should I be using to transfer the data so that new data is not lost or duplicated? Are there any “don’t do”s here? Can I make changes both at home and on the chart plotter and somehow merge without loosing anything?
