Homeport won't open G2 charts

I have a GPSMAP420 with no preloaded charts but use G2 cards, when I enter these cards into the SD slot, the pc recognises they are there but Homeport will not open the charts.

The card I'm trying just now is VEU 495S (Jul 08)

I see no one is biting on this one. From my experience I found that the first time I used my SD card in HomePort it took a long time to recognize it. Subsequent times have been very quick.

I used a separate card reader, not my GPSMAP78 to get it to work the first time.

Thanks MSYRJALA, I used the garmin micro sd in a usb card reader (instead of the sd adapter in the sd slot) and it found the maps straight away.
