Feature Request – Ability to rename route points

When creating a route, HomePort comes up with a name for the Route Planning Waypoint - which I will call a Route Point, as it is not normally shown on my GPSMAP78 unless the route it is located on is active.

The problem is that these names are not editable and are not always appropriate. See first picture:

As an example, what it the significance of 'Ca3743 (B) (12000)', '100.0m depth', or my favorite 'Shoreline'.
Not sure I really want to be navigating my boat to the route point named Shoreline.

Now having to close HomePort to hand code the underlying GPX file seems to defeat the purpose of having the software in the first place.
See second picture:

But the results are much desirable. Numbered route points with names that matter like islets name you will pass, or the point you intend to alter course at.

I would be happy for someone to tell me what I am doing wrong or on the other hand the logic of non-editable auto named route-points.

Cheers
