Saved routes in a different plotter

I will be sending my 540s in for an exchange under the flat rate warranty. What will happen to the routes I have copied onto the SD card? Will the charts I copied from the original unit work on the new unit, since there is obviously a different unit id? I want to be sure I can use all my saved info (now on an SD card) with the new plotter.

Doesn't the plotter have charts built in? If so, you won't need the charts from the original unit. Your routes should be fine. If there's a problem, load them into HomePort, then copy them to an SD card and load them into your replacement unit.
