G2 and homeport

Hi i have homeport latest Version, anywho when i try to open up my usb stick with my g2 mps on it with homeport it is not seen when i open HomePort.. it just shows an empty drive why is this?

    If you could provide some more details, that might help.

    How did you get the g2 maps on a USB stick? did you copy it yourself from the g2 SD card? If so, did you copy all the files and place it in the same folder hierarchy? Which g2 map is this?

    What happens in HomePort when you connect the USB stick? Does HomePort detect the USB stick and show it on the top right? If so, does it then show that it is trying to read your map? Does the progress bar for the map become red after some time? If so, when you hover your mouse cursor over the progress bar, do you see any messages?

    Just for grins I copied my SD card to a USB stick and put it in the computer. HomePort did not recognize the maps. I would have thought it would since it "sees" my other USB drives. I might have missed something.

    Why would I do this, you ask? I have multiple USB slots on my PC but only one SD card slot so I have to take the map card out to use the slot for other purposes.

    hi yes all files on the card and new zealand area and HP just shows an empty drive have not gotten any messages so far...i have given up can not be bothered with it a real let down i reckon
