Garmin GPSMAP 640 - No marine tracks only Land Tracks

So I have a GPSMAP 640 with a Vision G2 card. When I plug in my 640 to HP, it starts reading all the tracks, the funny thing is, I only get the land based trackes and not the marine tracks. If I go into marine mode and pan over to my water trip I see the tracks no problem, however HP does not. Any Ideas?

With the 640, to get your waypoints/routes/tracks from its marine mode, you have to choose the Export feature on the device to make the device write out its marine data. The export feature should be under the Information menu item. You would select the transfer or save option, then select a file on your SD card. Once the device has saved its data to the SD card, you can connect that SD card to HomePort and it will be able to see/modify your data.

GPSMAP 640 with V2 NMEA device

I have an autopilot that is V2 of NMEA. It was driven by a Garmin 126/128. I have replaces the 126/128 with a 640 which is V3. I looked at a post on NMEA V2 vs V3 and they say the sentences are the same except for a few added in V3. I have set my 640 to send all messages that the autopilot uses but it does not work. Can anyone add any additional information regarding V2 vs V3?
