No turn by turn directions

I just bought HP and was looking forward to planing my trips from the sofa.
But after copying my G Vision chart data from my Garmin 4008 chartplotter it can't make it work... i see in the chart properties under restrictions that :

No Map Printing
and
No Turn-By-Turn Directions

is listed, and it does not work... why is that ?

My G Vision chart is :

VEU021R-Denmark East and Sweden South East v.10.00

That is normal.

You plan your trips with your mouse. Two ways; one by just pointing and clicking at each turn, the other by creating waypoints and creating a route from them.

If you expected to be able to mark, say, Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA and have HomePort automatically create a route for you with all the turns needed to stay in safe water, you were under a false expectation.
