When I insert a G2 Vision SD card for the Great Lakes I can read it on Homeport but I don't have all of the detail that I get when I read it on my GPS 525.

If your talking the "Fishing detail" (bathymetric data), then in Homeport Select View, then Chart Views, then select "Fishing Chart".

    Hey Guys,

I have a similar problem with Homeport and the g2 data, the fishing view under the menu you describe is "dimmed" and therefore unaccessable. However I noticed at some zoom levels, the contour lines do appear. Any idea what is going on or is this just a software bug?

There are a handful of older versions of charts that used a different mechanism for advertising the availability of fishing charts. HomePort does not show the fishing chart for these products, even if the product contained fishing charts. The next release of HomePort will be able to read fishing charts from these products too.
