As if the Home Port Team isn't busy enough, I would like a place for suggestions for future features! It would also be nice if members had a way to vote for or against these ideas, if they think it would be useful to have or a waste of valuable time.

To start: I would like to see Homeport take advantage of the autorouting feature on vision cards.

Gee, Sandy, what a brilliant suggestion!

Once they get that done, I would like to see some sailboat -specific stuff, like planning a route with a specific wind direction in mind. It would only sail as close to the wind as a preset for the boat would permit, and draw tacking legs for routes to windward. Future versions would check predicted currents and calculate the best VMG to a waypoint or destination.

OK, that's really two suggestions. we shouldn't do that.

Hi, I've another suggestion and hope it will be realized some day.
Homeport is looking after all possible places for SD cards with correct BlueCharts 2" every 2 or 3 seconds. One of these possible places is the floppy disk drive (A:), where normally no maps are found. The floppy disk drive on my PC makes this "clack clack" noise every 3 seconds when HomePort is running. I would prefere to switch off this feature (before my floppy disk drive is broken).
