A Full screen view?

Is there a way of getting some kind of "Full Screen View" of the chart? I can't seem to find anyway other than grabing the boundaries of each of the properties, object list and menu's and moving them almost all the way off the view (in other words shri nking them down as much as possible). In Mapsource we can click the "Hide User Data Tabs" icon at the top right of the object list box. I don't see anything like that in Homeport.

You are correct- you can drag the boundaries of the Library and Devices area and the Information Area so that you can see more of the chart. There is no 'hide user data tabs' button.
  • Ok, Make one please!! :D It's a real PITA to continually drag those 3 boxes out of the way, and then back into place when needed. There really isn't much realestate left for the chart in the normal view.

Actually, what would be best is a menu item/Icon for "Full Screen View". Simply clicking it would bring the chart window into full screen display, removing the windows bar, Menu's, Data list, Properties box, Overview window.... The only thing you should see is the chart with the zoom/pan/tilt controls and the cursur should be whatever you left it as (either pointer or hand).

I'll second the request. But add a hot key so I don't have to use the mouse to click on it. If I'm drawing a new route, I don't want to lose the cursor.

And while we are on the subject, how about a way to get rid of the data bars on a 4212 while I'm panning around? The friggin bars take up half the screen when I'm looking for something. Also, how about way to disable the centering function of the cursor while panning?
