I just started using HomePort on my Win-10 Pro machine. The purpose is to download, see and use ActiveCaptain data -- and then transfer that data to my GPSMAP 276Cx.
HomePort seems to be working fine and I get and see all the ActiveCaptain data. And that data is saved on my PC. So far so good.
But I can't figure out how to save/transfer the ActiveCaptain data to my 276Cx. My 276Cx is listed on Garmin's "Compatible Devices" list -- so it should work.
I contacted Garmin's Chat and tried to get an answer, but they said it can't be done on my device -- the 276Cx. If that's so, then Garmin needs to remove it from their compatible devices list.
But I'm thinking the 276Cx really is compatible, and I just don't know how to save the ActiveCaptain data to it. I assume I need to change the data format to gpx. But how do I transfer the ActiveCaptain data to the "My Collection" window so it can be transferred?
