HomePort error reading map from GPSMAP

I am having troubles getting Homeport to read the map from my SD card. I have copied the map from my GPSMAP 751xs and then inserted the card into my computer and I keep getting the error in the image. I have updated my software and re copied the map but this is all I get.
Any opinions?

I assume the map displays correctly on your device?

Does it display correctly in Homeport if you access it directly on the device?

Yes the map displays correctly in the device but I haven't connected it directly to my laptop to see if it works that way. It doesn't have a USB port in it so not sure how I would connect it to my laptop. I have looked through the manual and cannot find a way to do this.
