    Same...

Same problem for me, don't seem able to install it on any of my 3 computers, they have win10 and win7. Same result.
Clicking on the Homeport icon immidiately result in a "Windows can not launch Homeport" pop-up that then goes away.

Im having major issues with Homeport on a 6 month old windows 10 machine. It installs fine but as soon as I start to play a recorded track the program stops responding to any clicks of the mouse. Well, it doesnt stop altogether, but it lags so badly you give up and have to force a close on the program via the task bar. IF you wait a loooooooong time, the program will respond to the clicks, but it takes like 30 seconds or more. Ever tried waiting 30 seconds for one of your mouse clicks to work? My recording is only 80 megs.

Sometimes when playing back a recording, the chart view will start flickering back and forth between two different zoom levels. When that happens the program stops responding completely most of the time.

Its also very annoying not to be able to change the depth scale on the play back. I started my recording in 12 ft of water then went out to 260 ft. The play back is stuck at a depth of 260 ft. That means all my shallow recording are almost invisible crammed into the top tiny bit of the screen on traditional and downviews. Same issue with sideviews - its stuck on what ever the max depth you had during the playback.

Plus, it gives me a Google Earth viewing option but then tells me I dont have Google Earth installed - but I do have it installed! I cant find anywhere in the program to tell it where Google Earth is installed either. The solution to that is to start Google Earth first. Thats kind of a kludge though.

So far tge program is useless as far as using sonar recordings.

I installed a virtual disk using ImDisk and it made a huge difference in how the program works - at least for a short time. After copying the builtin maps and the sonar track data to the virtual disk from the SD card, HomePort is able to play back the track and show the map data (without the SD card installed) and you can actually click on things and have a response within 1 or 2 seconds instead of 30-50 seconds. Please note that 1 or 2 seconds to respond to a click is still waaaaaaay too long.

However, the chart still goes into the flashing stutter mode after a short time and if you click on too many things or make to many changes the program still hangs and has to be closed using the task bar or task manager.

Looks to me like HomePort needs major updates if its going to work in windows 10. Thats a lot of users left out in the cold.

Ive discovered that running in compatibility mode helps to some degree - but not much.

The single most helpful thing to do is to zoom the chart view out while playing a track and close any info tag/text bubbles that pop up on the chart view.

When ever the "trailer" that moves along the chart view when you are playing back a track gets to the edge of the chart window, the program goes into stutter mode and soon crashes. This isnt very helpful because you cant really see where the boat is when zoomed out that far.
