Here is my question. Will I be able to copy LakeVu HD Maps from a 1040XS to be viewed on Homeport on my Mac? Also, Will I be able to load in Maps from LakeVu Ultra Regional Maps fro Garmin's SD card into Homeport on my Mac? It sees real quiet around here. Hope there are Garmin people lurking around.
I've got a simply fix for us Apple users. Simply create a "bootable" OS flash drive that contains the macOS Mojave. Then boot your computer while holding down the Option key and you'll be asked to select which drive to boot from your bulit-in drive or the new flash drive, Pick the Mojave flash drive. Once you've done that download HomePort from the Internet, install it on the same flash drive and you back up running same as the old days. Simply and easy, plus it doesn't take away any space on your computer's hardive and doesn't require using BootCamp.
