Can't play downloaded versions of Film

I'm getting the following error when trying to play both 720p & 1080p versions of 2201v4 Calpe 2022, Quickstep 1 - Tarbena

"Can't start training. Reason is unknown".

The streamed version worked ok, but quality was poor.

Running on W11

I installed the new 4.33.0.13425 release today and tried a couple of rides in Demo mode on my desktop and things appear to be working again. I will try it again on my bike PC later today to confirm.

I am getting the same message on all my films in Beta(I have about 200+ films downloaded)

The quality of the streaming was on par with the download although i have only cycled one streamed film since the”Can’t start training.Reason is unknown”

I will be using the streaming option more often in the future(KCOM Lightstream internet)

It does look like this is a bug were a downloaded film can only be streamed.

Thanks Dave. I resolved it this morning by uninstalling the App, reinstalling it from the Windows store (not the App Centre download), putting the configuration file back where it belongs, and downloads play again

I reinstalled the latest Beta from the APP Centre without doing any uninstalling.The downloads are now playing again.

Same error message? Did you put the config file back into the videos folder?

and did you reinstall from Windows store or the App Centre Beta download file? The latter did not work for me

Beta...file is in folder.. will play stream on beta but not download

About a day ago, I started getting the "Can't start training. Reason is unknown." message on all downloaded videos in beta version 4.32.0.12857. TDA public release seems to work fine. Reinstalling the same beta version did not help. However, reinstalling the prior version, 4.31.0.11831 appeared to solve the problem. 12857 was first installed almost a month ago and seemed to work until recently. However, I did get the error message for the first time about a week ago, but it only happened on one custom course of one movie and everything seemed to work until yesterday. Perhaps a recent Windows update has caused the problem. Or perhaps something has happened on the cloud side.

I have just checked and i did not reinstall the latest Beta but 4.27.0.8959 from Feb 2022 that solved this problem.

I have now reinstalled the previous Beta 4.31.0.11831 and downloads are working.

The downloads seem to be not working with the latest 4.32.0.12857.
