Floors Climbed don´t work

My vivosport has always marked the floors up and down, quite accurately. From one day to the next he stopped i don´t know if is a software problem or the barometer. Anyone else has this problem? Thank´s
  • My guess is rather a problem in the update from 3.30 to 3.40 if historic data / settings were still present. The issue occurred to me immediately after the update. And once I ran this procedure, everything is stable and working for several days now, so there's no general bug with the altimeter in 3.40.
Maybe just the update procedure itself had some issue, which could be circumvented with a hard-reset. Anyways, I am rather glad that the device is fine now and shows no issues so far as I could notice
  • My wife's Vivosport had same issue after update some time in June... I just updated to 3.50 and did a test and stairs are now working. 3.50 changelog doesn't mention anything about stairs, but thought I'd pass on my experience...
  • I updated to 3.50 and the problem still. No floors climbed! I’m so frustrated with Garmin.
  • Looks like Garmin has given up on the Vivosport and put their resources into other products.https://fetlife.vip/ https://downloader.vip/imvu/ https://downloader.vip/canva/
  • My vivosport was upgrading to v3.6 the last Tuesday. Since that day the floors climbed is not working. Just count some down floors but not up floors. Could you help me to solve the problem? Thanks and regards.

  • Same here. Since the update to the firmware version v3.6 the floors climbed doesn't work anymore. I've already reset the device. I also got some other problems too. All started at the same time, after the upgrade. Seems that these are software related problems. I hope when they release the next new software version they will test it before and not the customers...
  • I am having the same problem, but my device is running the new 3.8 software. Floors climbed don´t work and the battery is lasting 24-36 h. Poor device.
It is not possible to hard reset the device or try to instal the 3.8 updated again?
  • I've found that, in my house, the Vivosport underestimates floors climbed. The reason for this, I suspect is that the distance between floors is less than the 3m that the Vivosport expects. I'm not quite sure how it computes floors climbed, but mine usually ends up being about half as many as I think it should be. Perhaps it counts cumulatively or maybe the pressure readings are not quite 'different' enough for it to always register. But to be honest I don't give a damn because it's a fairly pointless metric anyway. I'm much more interested in how many miles I've cycled etc.
It's a pity you can't tweak your floor height like you can your step lenght.
  • Yesterday my device updated it software to the new 3.9 version. Unfortunately the problems remain. Battery works fine with GPS lasting more than 7 hours but in the stand by mode it last up to a day.

    Floors climbed didnt work either.
