Bulge on the band

Hello I bought the watch in the beginning of this year and like it very much, however this morning I noticed a defect, bulge popped out suddenly, what could have caused it, is it something that could be covered by warranty ?

Get in contact with Garmin, they will send you a new one. I had two returned because of this.

HI there! I am glad they were able to to get yours replaced. I personally had not seen this issue when this was brought to my attention a few months back. I do look out for this. Now that I am aware and hope to correct this issue immediately if someone experiences this.

Hi Amber, just FYI - noticed the same on my wife´s band couple days ago, sending it for warranty repair next week. So it is definitely not a unique case and seems like many users are facing the same.

As every 15th December, a bulge appeared on my girls vivosmart4 after a year, on our third by now... Got two replaced, but 12 months later the bulge came back as ever :facepalm:

It seems to be a recurrent issue with this band. Not only one but three units here

im on my second unit and the second one has also bulged, so will want a third, garmin accepting no responsibility for a faulty deign on this, very annoying

On my fifth unit now! Last year I bought one for my mother, and as with the other three I had for my gf (boutgh one, two exchanges under warranty, all developed that bulge after a year) the damned bulge appeared too.

Please Garmin, recognize this is a product issue... It cant be bad luck to have FOUR 4!!! Vivosmart4 bands developing this bulge. Not sure the fifth one I just received wont be developing this blister too...
