Garmin tech, is there a provision to pin a software version? If I am on a working version I want the option to refuse further updates that will likely break current functionality. We shouldn't be forced…
does the update with Garmin Express come with conect at the same time, or is it always possible to update there?

Does your VA3 successfully sync with Garmin Connect Mobile app on your phone?
Is GPS turned on - on both your phone and VA3? I believe during sync some GPS-information is transferred from the phone to the VA3.
What activities did you try? Did you try outside without any buildings, trees etc. shielding the GPS-signal?
Phone GPS is on. Watch GPS is on. Watch synchronized with phone app as well as laptop. Tried running as well as walking and navigation. No GPS signal on VA3. Reset, tried again. No joy. VA3 GPS attempted with no trees or buildings. Left for 3 hours no GPS.
Have you tried setting it to GPS+Galileo?
GPS+Glosnas, GPS+Galileo as well as just simply "on". No joy. VA3 was bought in the UK and is being used in RSA. Could this make a difference?
