Language Pack

I just got a Vivoactive 3 Rose Gold for my wife (bought at Garmin.com US) and the watch came only with English, Spanish and French options... How can I set it to Portuguese? I bouth a FR 645M too and at my watch I have a lot of languages... At Garmin Express says that there are no other pack for this watch... Is that true?

Hi did you get an english language pack? Mine is in chinese and I would like to change it to english.

No. The watch's system supports one language at a time. Installed apps may have another language, but the ones coming with the system won't.

Thanks for sharing the Chinese language pack. I renamed it to DANISH.LN3 then set the language to Danish on my watch, all characters are displayed as blocks. I believe the ROM has also to be updated. This will be my last Garmin watch. Terrible market strategy. They put the company's interests above their customers.

I'm having the same issue, Korean is showing up as boxes. Anyone have the Korean.LN3 file they're able to share with me? Thanks a lot

When you see a box instead of a character (on some devices it's a diamond with a ?), that means the firmware doesn't know how to display that character. If you look at an ln3 file, it's just the strings for things in that language. But if the FW doesn't know about the characters in those strings, you'll still see boxes.

In other words, the ln3 for Korean won't help. You need to have an APAC device with the fonts for Korean.
