Sw 5.50?

They promised to replace my watch but still havent hearb from them yet. But I dont think the watch itself is a problem, software is.
Garmin, please make it quick for us as you did to Apac version.

I have my APAC device upgraded to 5.5 and it improved a lot compared to the 5.4 version. My device in 5.4 could only survive less than 2 days. In 5.5, the battery performance goes back to 4 to 5 days.

More than that, the GPS location tracking in 5.5 improved significantly

probably affects only APAC?
on 5.4 ROW firmware.. after 48hrs with no activity... has dropped about 26%.

I live in Malaysia so it looks as if you're right about only APAC units.

I received my Vivoactive 3 yesterday, connected to Garmin Express, and it updated to 5.50. But I think I'm on the ROW version. I purchased it from Amazon Canada. How do I determine for sure what version watch I have? I've searched, but found no definitive method.

An easy way is to see what languages it supports. ROW and APAC support english, but vary after that.

for languages I'm seeing English, Brasileiro, Dansk, Deutch, Espanol, French, Italian, etc. Doesn't seem to be any Asian languages. So I would assume it's a ROW version?

Hi, I'm quite bothered by the fast drain in the first two hours of the watch. It goes from 9.75%/hr to 0.486%/hr of battery drain. Is this normal? All in all, battery drain became stable after that and by my projection, SW 5.50 solved the issue.ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1401477.png

you're on 5.4 or 5.5?? 5.5 has no issues with GPS.. I did walking, running and cycling and all the three times GPS was detected in less than 20 seconds... for walking however i was on GPS+GLONASS as i couldn't wait for that 20 secs too (lol).

Mine has English and Chinese, so obviously its APAC.. I bought it in Taiwan.. Canada should support French, English..

Me and my wife have units bought from Garmin Australia (I think we got devices in the first batch) .. but neither of them got the 5.50 update
