Significant battery drain after 2.50 update

[TD]I updated my VA3 to version 2.50 yesterday and now the battery is draining significantly faster than before.

With version 2.40 after 24 hours the battery would be at around 87%.

Now, after updating to 2.50, the battery is at 75% after 12 hours.

Anyone else experiencing this also?

I've submitted a ticket to Garmin ... but I really don't have high hopes of getting a response. The past two tickets I submitted were pretty much ignored.

OK, I said I was going to test battery life side by side with the VAHR. I was expecting to see a big difference between the two. However, after about 5 hours (including a little over an hour of GPS and activity tracking) both are at 94%. I did not get the quick drop in battery power right after taking it off the charger that I saw yesterday. Maybe there is something to the have to charge it a few times before the battery starts working right thing.
