Vector 3 Software Release 3.30

Update went smooth from the Edge 1030, updated from beta 3.15 to 3.30 now a few more days of marathon taper so I can get back on the bike :)
  • t_smit why don t garmin consider a update that in fact downgrade Vector 3 S allowing the use without so many dropouts until the new firmware gets ready?


    When we released the 3.15 beta, we did prepare a 'reversion' build (to 3.0) in the case that 3.15 did give greater issues than 3.0. This was actually not the case (3.0 introduced several issues of its own, that still exist in 3.30), and we did not release the reversion build because doing so would not actually have helped anyone.

    Since the 3.30 release we identified a couple of corner case issues that affect the overall system control even going back to the original release when used with certain head units, including watches such as the 920 and 935, and the upcoming release is intended to fix them.
  • I was running v3.0 on m V3S but then upgraded to 3.30 since then both my edge 810 and my 935 XT can connect to the Vector 3S but will not show power or cadence data at all. Interestingly 935XT is connecting via Bluetooth only. Garmin Support haven't responded to my query. What is my escalation path as right now V3S is fundamentally not doing what its meant to ie be a power meter

    Hi, I just recently purchased a pair of Vector 3's. Initially no issues, but not I'm getting a pretty consistent spike during each of my rides. 1-2 spikes during each ride, last night I had one of 5000+watts. Also experiencing the "missing right pedal" message. No battery issues...yet. How do i get on a list for receiving a new battery holder or whatever it's being called? I'd like to receive the replacements when that happens please. Thank you.

  • How can I get the new battery caps, I continue with this frustrating situation, I live in El Salvador, central america, here we dont have a local Garmin Customer Service agent, I bought this pedals in the US. How can I manage to get this new caps on a US address?

  • Being fair to all my process with garmin and comments expressing my frustration to get to a point where I could not use my 3 month old vector 3. Now I can say that garmin USA after reaching them by phone, telling them my problema and how difficult was for me get local support because the country where I live their's no garmin shop. They solved my problem, send new garmin vector 3, this is my second ride and they are working perfectly and this took about 2 weeks to have it solved. Thank you garmin.
