Well, I expect we will see what happens once the OP goes down 15 metres when snorkeling - the proof will be in the pudding! :p
Personally I wouldn't risk it, it only takes a second to take the watch off - but anyway I don't think I would be able (or willing) to even try going 15 metres deep unless I had a very good reason to do so! :D
