Invalid FIT File

I have just completed the Aberfeldy 1/2 Ironman using the 735xt. Using the Triathlon activity type, it was recording all the data as I went along, but now as I try to upload the file it is showing, "invalid" in History and continues to error when I try and sync.

Any suggestion please, as I am gutted to lose all this data

ps, the map is on the watch showing my my swim, bike & run

Post the FIT file here from the ACTIVITY folder and will see if can "repair" it using the FIT File Repair Tool.

Same here and Garmin fixed part of the problem because the running part was still missing. I was able to retrieve by myself the running part. So I'm pretty sure Garmin you can do it too for all of us who have this problem.

Invalid

Hi, I completed Copenhagan Ironman 22 August and have the same problem with my 735XT, It worked all through the race but when I went to save it says invalid, the map is there but everything else reads 00:00.0. Ive tried emailing support but no success with a reply. Can you fix with this FIT file? Will this be a recurring defect? If so, I could return as defective and get my money back and look for a more reliable watch.

Is there anyway to retrieve my data? I just updated my watch but still says on express 'unsupported file 68L73134.fit
