Integrated music storage?

Anyone knows of Garmin planning integrated music storage (with bluetooth connection to headphones) on the future Forerunner-series (successors to 235 / 630)?
This is something I'm really missing. Don't want to take the phone with me while running....

Thanx!

Dave.
  • Out of interest why did you opt for a watch with no swim features if you swim everyday?

    I didn't say I 'swim' everyday ... I'm said I'm 'in' a pool almost everyday.:p

Actually I do swim a bit still (used to a lot train for triathlons), but I go to the gym everyday after my run (I run almost everyday) and my gym has a awesome hot tub/steam room/sauna/pool which I visit after my workout as a reward. Great way to end a day!

To answer your question, I mainly had running on my mind when I bought the watch and figured I would use Other for any swimming (which kinda sucks in hind sight). If the 735 had been out at that time, I would have bought that model without hesitation. Now, I am still tempted to get a 735, but after having forked over nearly $500 for the 235 I'm going to wait for a while ... Garmin tends to release new models every 6 months it seems, so we'll see what is available in a year or so ... hopefully a 735 model with integrated memory for music! :D

Those two features are what I'm going to be waiting for in the future Forerunner models.
Bluetooth headphones capability and internal storage for music playback. It might take them years before they decide to release a model with those features, but I'll be happy with my 235 in the meantime.
