"Download Failed" Banner at Every Startup

Every time I power my Edge 820 up, I get a "download failed" message in the top bar. What's it even trying to download?

Further to my previous post I had a couple of support calls with Garmin last week and have resolved the annoying download failed message. Not sure if this will work for everyone, but here are the steps…

I have updated the maps and now the issue is has reappeared. It's annoying

Same here. Although all features are working as expected, this download failed notification on startup is annoying .

The problem is back. And if that weren't annoying enough, it's dropping all sensor connections 5-10 times per hour.

Thanks. Checked sync queue and it was empty. Still getting "download failed" when I start my Edge 820.

Download failed banner at every startup and after each download although download is done.
The same after a full reset of my Edge 820
It began 15 days ago.
How to fix this ?

I think the download failed banner with wifi synchronisation is related with IQ apps.
I've no IQ app on my Edge but if I want to download one, I can see the the app in the download queue in Garmin Connect but the download via wifi doesn't work.
I can only dpwnload the IQ app with Garmin Connect.
Can someone fron Garmin investigate this issue?

Don't think so. I got my Edge 820 few weeks ago and have not installed Connect IQ apps, widgets or data fields. It showed the message directly after unboxing and setting up wifi.
