Edge 1030 (v7.50) shutdown suddenly during activity

Same. 1030 has been rock solid over 1,000’s miles. Updated to 7.5 three shutdowns/restarts in under 10 miles. 

same for me, I have it from October last year , never had an shutdown , or at least I did not notice

I think I did ~7000 km since then 

Yesterday in the middle of the ride  I start the navigation to an known address , after a while I notice that the screen was off 

I have checked and error is "RTL trap" , I don't have the Garmin with me but I will post more details 

For the time being. What is the process to do downgrade?

RTL Trap

I was almost at the end of the ride , I tap Navigation to an address , I had the route calculated  , some turns then when I look at the screen , Garmin had an nice shutdown

The problem is that I don't know what map I had selected 

If you need more help , please let me know

Was riding with a route (created on Strava and pulled onto the device using the Strava Routes IQ app). The Edge 1030 shut down twice during a ride (~52 miles) today. Debugging info attached. 

Edge 1030; software version 7.50

Connected sensors: Garmin ANT+ HRM, Vector 3 pedals, Varia RTL510, Varia UT800

Additional issues I've been experiencing with the Edge 1030:

1. Weather warnings popping up between 3 and 15 times consecutively, multiple times per ride. Clearing dozens of flood warnings has been part of every ride (in KC area) for multiple weeks.
2. Prompt to reroute popping up repeatedly if riding along a route in reverse, the entire time while doing so.
3. Unit is unresponsive for a couple minutes during startup, which seems to be a new issue
4. LiveTrack with auto-start enabled does not auto-start despite the mobile device (iOS 12) being connected.
5. My original 1030 was replaced in October of last year due to the halo effect screen issue. The new unit appears to be developing the same issue now.

What is the connection? shut down is a shut down, not power save.....

This happened to me last night, for the first time.  Coincidentally, battery level was 82%. Repeated attempts while riding to restart failed. As soon as a valid operating screen appeared, it went full black, then white screen, then shutdown. Left it for 15 min or so, and it was fine from thereon.  Looks like the same RTL Trap is the issue.
