Running audio prompt to the millimeter (v22.22)

Since the latest update, when running a course, I now get prompts like "turn right after 95.529 meters". Like I would notice the 9mm difference

If this ain't a setting (???), then garmin please just round to the meter, this is very confusing

EDIT (23/03/2025):

Those coming here with this same problem. Summary is, this currently happens when you connect your earphones to your phone, not when only connecting to the app.

garmin support is aware. Now, lets hope for a fix.

  • I'm having the problem with audio alerts in the walking activity. I don't do any sort of routing. The alerts play on my android phone's speaker and when I'm using bluetooth buds connected to the phone. Until recently the alerts announced speed as MPH's to one decimal point.

  • Same happens with me.  Garmin 965 running v22.24. Shokz headphones connected to phone.  When I have an activity involving speed or distance these figures are read out to 3 decimal places.  For example on a bike it might say "current speed 25.653" or if you are running and have turn by turn navigation on it might say "in 50.254 metres turn right". it is fine to reach out to me and look at my data.

  • I was cycling to/from a parkrun on Sat & found it funny to have my average speed announced to 3 decimal places every 5k. As with everyone else this was with headphones connected to my phone.
