That nightly elevation change...

Anyone knows how to prevent the watch from fu***ng up the elevation each night at 02:30, but still keep all the sensor settings to Auto?

I guess it has something to do with saved locations, or something in Garmin Connect Mobile?

  • I live at 330ft altitude. Started a run at 13:00ish, first mile is uphill, no part of the run is over 450ft, and none below the start of 330ft, certainly not 29ft. At night I take it off and calibrate it to 330, it creeps up to 420 and is pegged there until I pick it up when it drops to 200 or so and wanders all over -30ft to +700 while being at home. My barometer looks fine apart from daily vertical jumps & drops a few hrs later or 10-15mb.

My compass is always off 15ish degrees too, so I calibrate that on a known 90deg road and after a run it'll be back to 15deg off using a compass-marked line.
