Deleting Race Events from the Watch

Yes, being able to delete from the widget would be great.

Only option I have found is to reset the watch completely...not ideal, or if it is close just wait until the race date passes.

Yep would be nice if you could remove events from the watch. One of my events was recently cancelled and is not going ahead anymore.

same problem here. I removed the event from the canlendar on the Garmin Connect App. But the event still remains on the watch after synching. This effects the daily training suggestiongs.

While not a solution, but has anyone tried changing the date so it’s in the past?

I don't really think it does btw .... have a marathon in 6wks... it is still only suggesting the longest run of my week to be two tempo runs (1:15) and my long run day... 50minutes. LOL 

although my watch is new , so maybe it is just messed up and not referencing any of my prior training , vo2max, etc... 

I think that you have identified a separate problem. My experience is that the workout recommendations are not good. If I followed these recommendations for marathon preparation, I would not be able to complete the distance at any speed. I have to say that it is really not acceptable that Garmin has known of this problem on a very expensive watch for a long time and done nothing to address it. There have been several software updates but this is still not fixed. This is my third Garmin watch but maybe my last. My training partner is happy with her Coros watch. Maybe I'll give that a try when I give up on this expensive buggy device.
