Strange Bluetooth Name

When I paired my device with my iPhone its name was UAT-4315 which seems a bit odd as all my other Garmin devices paired with the device name so I was expecting forerunner 965.
Has anyone else had a similar issue?

All, please make sure you're on software version 4.19. If you still see UAT-XXX in your Bluetooth menu, please follow the steps from Remove and Add a Device From the Garmin Connect App.

That was my thought as well! I was worried I had some sort of test unit but feel better that everyone else is in the same boat. Maybe it will change in a software update in the future.

Thanks, now it works.

But since my 965 works fine I think I just leave it as is. Haven’t seen that UAT name anywhere else but in the bluetooth connection, so doesn’t really matter…

I had the same issue , takes a few seconds to fix and then at least the name is corrected , although as you say it is just cosmetic.
