Thank you, all, for sharing these tips!
If reinstalling the software (read @oBuTTuSo's comment) does not work, please try syncing/checking for updates with Garmin Express (if you have access to a computer…
Try go into settings - system - about, and there press the light button 8 times and select reinstall
Did reboot yesterday but did not work. The lights are not turning on from the sensor. As linsguilherme asked below two sub versions bmx and ohr are standing on 0.0.0 and 0.00.00. so for some reason the…
good for you, congratulation Keberis. hopefully it stays good forever, just remember, do not ever update it again LOL
After seeing no large mass of foul play cries for the 21.20 update, I bit the bullet and did the update to see if the HR accuracy (vertical jump after about 10 minutes of exercise) would be fixed, but per this post and as has been already posted elsewhere (but worth revisiting) after using Garmin express to update the software the HR sensor was completely dead. A power down restart (not a factory reset) did not help.
I went to the secret menu, settings, about, then pushed the light button 8 times and chose reinstall. That did fix the issue for me, the HR sensor came back to life. No reported sensor versions had 0's for version but I suspect the HR sensor wasn't even there. After the 2nd update finished the screen flashed the message sensor software updated (or something very close to that).
Based on other forum posts about excessive battery drain, I verified that my Pulse OX sensor setting was set to "on demand", so not on during sleep.
The HR accuracy remains to be seen, resting looks OK but I tweaked an ankle during a run and it will likely be a couple of days before I test exercise HR.
I have the same issue on my Garmin 955 and I'm just so tired
