New Forerunner 955 or F7

Hi all ,

I am owner of 235 for 3 year now and I want to move to a new watch with music . I was ready to buy the 945 or the F7 but now with the 955 I am debating . Do you have any suggestions ?

F7 has a higher bit depth screen and, IMO, vastly superior mapping interface (touch works well and is intuitive.) f7 also displays much higher detail maps at any zoom level and detail level. I find the 955 maps good enough for running but not nearly as good as F7 for things like MTB. 955 is so much lighter though. If you don’t need the better maps 955 seems the way to go but F7 feels significantly more premium.

Never used screen protector on any of my Forerunners and never had problems. *knock on wood*.

Here's my 2-3 year old 945 which has been without screen protector in a angle that should show scratches if there is any. I don't see any.
