I love my 3 month old Garmin 945 but I noticed recently my back button doesn’t seem to click like it used to. It seems stuck. Anyone else have this issue or am I just losing my mind?

I think it happens to almost everyone I think.
Really? And how do you arrive at that conclusion? Ours are fine. Friends we know with 945s are not complaining.
However, there are some folk in…
Moved thread to Forerunner 945 forum.

Not everyone. I've had mine for more than 18 months and all is good. Same goes for my wife's watch.
From what I read the "rev D" version actually doesn't have anything to do with it and indicates the version of the packaging. I also have this issue with my back button.
Had it replaced 3 months ago and the new one stopped clicking as well a few weeks ago. I'm in doubt about replacing it again since it the function of the button still works and it's just the click feeling that is gone and I'd have to go without my Garmin for 2-3 weeks again which I really dislike.
I already replaced my watch 3 (three) times. Watch I'm using tight now also is not clicking correctly. Only thing which is stopping me from sending it back again is 10-14 days of waiting. And last time they sent it me my watch back...
not clicking correctly.
Where does it say that the buttons have to click? They just have to work.
Well at least in my country if I can prove it's manufacturing issue the warranty time Garmin gives should be irrelevant. This clearly is manufacturing issue, so that if warranty is expired Garmin should still fix it.
Or course don't know where you live and how the local laws are, but in EU that's a EU thing.
Seller is responsible for faults that were on the product when you bought it and I would argue what these button issues were on the product when you bought it, it just starts to show later and possible stops totally working later. And it would probably also be beneficial to Garmin that all the people won't change the watch "just in case", just until it stops working.
I did replace once as I thought rev.D would fix it, but no, issue is there, hopefully there has been some more engineering or reverting back to working button design with the 955.
You have the whole warranty period to monitor if the button fails to respond.
I think if you replace another one, I doubt you will be satisfied too.
Maybe for your peace of mind, just try another model.
