Hello,
are there no more updates for the FR 945?
Otherwise these came regularly and since 3 months it has become quiet.
Still wish me a scheduler for an automatic flight mode. (To reduce radiation in the night)
Greetings and thanks
Steffen

Yeah, mine went nuts again yesterday with "Abnormal Heart Rate" alarm. It probably does this about once or twice a week, and it's never when I'm actually doing anything. Just sitting…
I just want the weather widget fixed so all my heat acclimation and vo2max and other training metrics aren't hosed.
It's still their flagship running and triathlon watch. The Fenix 6 weighs a ton
i'm considering selling my 945 as well - and tried a F6; it's definitely heavier, but i think one could get used to it; the F6S though is comparable to the 945. Former Member - any news on an update? it's almost 4 months and since then, the F6 family got already 2 major releases...
Maybe I'll get an F6 then, though I bet there's an F7 just around the corner...
same for me. makes it useless !
Why should we bye an expensive watch from Garmin as the problems are not solved.
Garmin politics strategy is by a product, make ik useless in one or 2 years and introduce a new one.
How long does Garmin think the customers stay with Garmin at the end ?
now this makes me think and think :-). wait another year or not? the tech geek in me says no, go get it but the reasonable one says - besides sleep and (potentially) bluetooth hr broadcasting what else would i actually use?
Quality, quality, quality! Words aparat - forerunner and fenix. I guess that it was the last forerunner in my life
For me this sounds true. Had three Forerunner 9xx and one Fenix 3. Had to replace all Forerunners due to hardware problems.
Bigger screen is nice and readable and not really bigger in terms of body/case
Pressing buttons is a pleasure - great click every time
Power manager that turns off functions that I don't need at night works perfect
I don't really feel the 'heaviness'
It looks much better
etc
Let hardware be whatever it is, but the software is a clear dealbreaker. The F6 line is clearly prioritized with regards to software updates compared with the Forerunners and that bothers me a lot. It's like the FR series is just neglected for the sake of the pricier lines. And I fully disapprove that.
Do you have a 945?
Is it working?
I have one (well actually there are two in this house) and they both work. They also have some additional features that were not there when we bought them.
Extra features are nice to have but we're content with what we currently have and the stability of the watches currently.
I'm sure Garmin will put an update out when it's needed.
