Battery is empty after 3 days

Hi,

I have a FR945 since last week (wednesday) I have done so far a lot of configurations and my first run on thursday. However, I thought the fast battery drop is caused by my configurations and the test of the smart watch feature during the first day, so that I have been charged my watch after about 3 days on friday evening.

However, I was sick over the weekend so that I haven't done any trainig over the weekend. On monday morning I have had about 78% battery and in the afternoon I have received a message battery 0%. I have wondered how that can be. Atfer a few minutes the watch has been switched off because of no battery. I switched on the watch and noticed then 1% atfer a few minutes it was off again.

The watch has installed firmware 2.4 based on automatic updates.

Is there anyone experiencing the same?

    What are you talking about? You use pulse ox and accept the battery hit. Just as you can use music while you're active and accept the battery hit. Absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the watch. While I might not agree with having all this 'fluff' on these watches, others do like it. It's there. I don't have to use it if I don't want to. Neither do you.

    Well I'm a new owner, coming from the 935... This is making me go nuts. 3-4 days of battery at Max. Hate it.

    I had the same problem. I followed all recommendation for maximizing battery life but I'm still getting no more than 3 days, even without using GPS. PulseOX disabled, gesture disabled, brightness at 5%, done two hard resets and nothing changes.  I really don't know what else to do. Any ideas? Thanks

    solution: take it to the technical service and have it changed. They changed it for me and now the new one is 10 points.

    same problem here, my older device Garmin fr245 with same style of use battery during 6-7 days and now a changed to a  fr945 buyer new and battery only during to max 4 days very unhappy, I expect they will during like 10-11 days.

    i disable wifi, pul ox and not nothing change battery life
