Forerunner 945 FR945 and Garmin Explore app compatibility

FR945 and Garmin Explore app compatibility

A question to happy owners of the new FR945:
Can anyone confirm if the FR945 is compatible with the mobile Explore app? It's not listed as a compatible device (although the old FR935 is).

The explore app still lists 945 as not compatible. Tried just now.

I see current HR in Garmin Connect Mobile app 4.18.1. Explore app does not have such function.

But I get the impression that you talk about Garmin Connect, and not Garmin Explore. I asked about Garmin Explore.

What device did you use? It won't connect on android phone.

This is taking too much time. Frankly, I don't see the point why we can't use Garmin Explore already... 945 is supposed to be top of forerunner range

as of today my 945 moved from not compatible list to supported device list. I am able to sync with the explore successfully!!

Thank you. Checked, FR945 is compatible now.

Not only is garmin explore not compatible with the 945, it also does not do "follow paths" route creation. When you add a new waypoint it just puts a straight line to the previous waypoint. In what world that is useful route planning I do not know. Maybe when running in the desert :).
