Watch stuck in some sort of test mode.

Hi,

The down button on my 935 wasn't working, so I tried restarting the watch, but when I turned it back on, the screen in the image came up. Have tried holding the power button down for 20 seconds, to no avail. Wondering if there's another solve to this.

If you contact Garmin Support, they will likely walk you through the soaking routine and if no luck, offer a refurbished replacement at a reduced cost. Worth calling them to find out. https://support.garmin…

I thought it was more like 30 seconds to force power off. Keep holding it down until it goes dark. Haven't tried it, but some have stated that soaking in warm water for 10 minutes will loosen the stuck button.

Thanks for the suggestions. Have tried them all and still no luck. It will power off if I hold the button down, but just goes right back to that test screen if I turn it back on.

Thanks a lot. Gave them a call and they confirm the button was stuck. Ran it under a tap and we're back in action!
