What is 'Exercise Load' and why does it not record on Garmin Connect

Fenix 5x plus with HRM-Tri and I get the same thing.  It's there but it's blank.

Only more recent devices (945/Fenix 6/Edge x30) give the exercise load.

... which is funny, because the 935 does keep track of your training load and training load is indicated by the 935. So basically Garmin does keep track of the load of a single activity, it just isn’t shown. Time to update that 935 firmware, Garmin!

The 935 does indicate Training Load, but does not include the newer Load Focus. And almost certainly Garmin will NOT be introducing new features which it has to pay Firstbeat licensing costs on old devices.

All I am asking for, is to see the training load (or exercise load, whatever Garmin wants to call it) for a single activity. This value must be known already, because my training load changes after each activity. So why not just show it? The feature is already there...

maybe you can check your overall training load after each exercise and the change there is the effect from the last exercise. If this works, maybe you can enter it in your Connect profile manually. If this works as well, maybe your watch would show it in the relevant field after sync. Who knows? I did not try but will do, for sure : )
