Thank you, I wasn't aware of that. I had it turned off but I might done it during the race and don't really know if I did receive notifications later. I will see at some other opportunity.
On my recent run I checked it. It's not the same setting - you can have off course navigation setting off while having on course alerts. Really annoying while running with not most reliable box tracks or where GPS signal is weak.
Yes, its extremely annoying to the point of wanting to change the watch. Im following a line on the watch screen so i can see if im on course or off course - i dont need a ridiculous secondary notification blocking the screen and preventing me from seeing where im going!! Does Garmin actually field test their watches??
