Exact same thing happened to me yesterday. I can upload the pool swim to Strava but Garmin Connect doesn't like it. First time this has happened to me - hope this isn't a new bug.
IfOllypsilonwouldn't mind taking a look at this too, it'dbe much appreciated (it's not a long swim but I got a 50m PB that I'd like it keep for reference).
I'd be interested in knowing what was wrong with it. Perhaps related to the HRM-Swim?
Well, I had the same issue with my triathlon race on Sunday, same as a mate. With the repaired files we could upload to GC. On device I could drill-down each activity without any issue. So maybe you're right and it's related to swim and HRM-Tri/Swim. I had an OWS with HRM-Tri, you used pool swim with HRM-Tri (according to .fit file) and Panos used pool swim with HRM-Tri.
Thanks a lot. I was actually using the HRM-Swim. Likewise, on the 935 I could view the history without issue. Hope this doesn't impact my upcoming tri. Did the bike and run part of your tri upload okay?
Ok, FitFileRepairTool gave HRM-Tri as device. Maybe hardware ID is same or tool doesn't distinct both. For the triathlon upload: as it's a multi-sport activity it's only one file, all combined. So there are no separate uploads for bike and run.
PanosKevinJames Did you get the new 13.30 update exactly after the activity was saved?
I had the same issue with a swim activity with an HRM-SWIM, the activity saved and I immediately got the notification on the watch that the watch software was updated to 13.30, I then noticed the swim activity I'd just completed was corrupt.
I've done another swim activity with the HRM-SWIM and it has been saved fine.
