Ride Recorded on FR935 and Edge 520

When recording a ride on multiple devices (935 and 520), is there a way to merge the two files or select a preferred one? I want to avoid having my miles count double. It's nice to have my 520 visible on the bike but the 935 seems to do more fancy stuff (VO2 Max, etc.) when I finish.

    Newer devices offer Extended Display, but i don't think the 520 includes this feature.

    Physio True Up will transfer some metrics to the watch, but you still won't get some metrics that the 520 just doesn't have.

    probably the best way is to record on both, but Discard rather than Save at the end of the ride with the 520, and just save on the watch.

    This is what I do too.  I have the 520+ so I have the Extended Display which is nice as long as you don't want to use the map or navigation.

    If I need the maps or navigation, then I'll record the activity on both devices and discard the 520+ activity and only save the 935 one.
