TrainingPeaks Workouts Not Working (Stryd)

So now that TrainingPeaks got rid of their IQ app, I can't get their workouts to sync correctly and actually work. I have done the new TrainingPeaks Garmin calendar sync. So I create a TP workout with power, and it syncs to my 935 watch. All the steps are correct with the correct power ranges. But when I start the workout, it doesn't track power. I get 2 bars that show nothing is connected. Yet when I go to a different data screen, I can see the Stryd power being measured. The power meter is connected to the watch and the watch is tracking power, and everything is recored and uploaded to TP fine. But during the workout, I have no power data. What's up?

For some reason your data field is connecting to your Stryd as a power meter (the weight icon) and not the foot pod icon. Is this how it normally shows using TrainingPeaks? What happens if you disconnect the Stryd weight icon sensor and just leave the Stryd foot pod icon?

I have this same issue, and can't seem to find the way to change that field to power, though I can see my CP on other screens.

I have the same issue! Frustrating because I signed up for a training plan that uses power. Any ideas???

Same here! Frustrating because I bought a TP training plan and a Stryd intending to train for a marathon using power...

From what I can tell, the “Power” for the workouts is Garmin Power, which is just a calculation. You can’t get the Stryd power to show up in TP workouts unfortunately. At least from what I’ve found. The best fix is just to memorize the power ranges and try to stay in the range.

That's a shame! I was looking forward to using the two in sync with each other. I hate having to stare at my watch all the time.
