Impressed: $99 to replace an out of warranty watch?

i was just on chat with a Garmin Support person because my watch has had a lot of odd behavior lately (am considering a full reset) and i was inquiring to figure out how to get the watched "repaired" out of warranty since i will be approaching 2 years in April, and that is when my credit card's extended warranty will run out. i was pleasantly surprised to learn that a swap to a refurbished unit would be $99 (hopefully covered by my credit card). i found this to be pleasant surprise, esp since this watch still retails for $499. not bad at all...
