No map showing in activity

For the last couple of activitys there is no map data in garmin connect. If have changed nothing on my watch. elevation, pace etc. is recorded correctly.
After searching the web, i have seen this problem exists on different forerunners since 2016. A reboot fixed the problem for now. But does anyone know whats the reason for this problem?
I have software version 10.10 on my forerunner 935.

  • There was an issue once with the Fenix 3 (theory was that the cause was an internal counter rollover) which resulted in no GPS tracks, it was remedied by rebooting at least every 4 weeks, but I can't imagine that same issue coming back in another firmware. Maybe you could update to 12.10?
