No training load or training status

I got my new forerunner 935 on May 6 and have about a dozen activities (both running and cycling), but when I go to view my training status it just says "No Status." I also don't have a training load at all, even though I've used it for a couple of weeks now. In fact, when I go to Settings > Widgets, I don't even have the option to add the screen for "Training Load." I've updated my watch, I've made sure my heart rate sensor is on, I've even called Garmin support, and I can't seem to find anyone else that has had this issue or even heard of it. Am I just missing something, or is something wrong with the software on my watch?

In order to get your first Training Status you need to collect the proper amount of data.
The number of needed activities may vary depending on their duration and frequency (normally it takes about 1-2 weeks; in my case it took a week but I ran 6 days per week).
I can't remember if the Training Load is displayed even if the Training Status has still not been calculated but in any case you can find it in the Performance Widget: press the Start/Stop button and scroll the pages by pressing the Up or Down buttons.
  • If I recall, you have to add the performance widget in order to see your training load.
  • Sorry, if you can see your training status, you probably already have the performance widget installed. When you get to training status, press the upper right button to select the performance measurements, then use the up/down buttons to scroll thru measurements, training load should be one of those screens.

I got a hold of support again, and all I had to do was go into activity settings and update my "activity class." Everything is showing up correctly now. :)
