Forerunner 935 restart every few seconds

Hi, from tonight my forerunner reboot every few seconds with no reason. I have tryied to reset, hard reset, reupload the firmware but it continue to restart. At last reset i have not associated to smartphone and it seems now not reboot, so it seem crash when trying to communicate with associated smartphone. Anyone have the same issue? Firmware 7.10

Update: i have associate again with smartphone and it crash only if i authorize Calendar Access. At moment i have blocked authorization to calendar, and it seem not reboot
  • Do you have a custom watch face enabled? If so, I'd try deleting that.

after hard reset no custom watch face installed but if associated to a smartphone the 935 restart every few seconds. At moment it works only if association with smartphone is disabled or if i not authorize calendar sync with smartphone.
  • Which calendar app are you using and is there any change in the notifications generated by the calendar app?

Not using an app but the default widget. Tryied also to remove it but on the smartphone i continue to receive the notification of Calendar Auth Needed. If i authorize the 935 begin to crash and the only way to end this process is to delete all data in Garmin Mobile App over the Smartphone or Deasocciate It from 935
  • Apology, I my remark was not valid for calendar notifications. I've seen this problem arising from email notifications sent by a certain email app - but when it comes to calendar, the Google calendar service is used, not an app. Sorry I can't be of more help!
  • I have the same issue with a Fenix 5. Tried the calendar fix and did not work. Keeping app closed.

Just to be clear. Is the watch restarting when your calendar app on your phone is sending notifications to the 935's calendar widget, or are you having this problem by just having the calendar widget installed on the watch?

No the problem happen also if the widget is not installed. At moment i fixed it not allowing permission to access data in my smartphone. I explain bettter: first time 935 try to connect calendar data my smartphone ask me if i want give the permission, and i set NO. But it is a big bug for a watch that costs 500€
