Forerunner 735xt - flickering screen issue

Same here, started all of a sudden on July 2nd -23. As soon as I want to start an activity the screen flickers a lot and colors are almost all gone ?

Well the good news is that I called Garmin on 0808 238 0000 and after a brief diagnostic they offered a free replacement which has now arrived and appears to be brand new device.  This is an outstanding policy and service.  Hope it's the same for you.

Nope! Not Garmin in Sweden. They let me understand that more than 3 years had passed so I could not get it on the guarantee. They offered a small discount if I wanted to buy a new watch and at the same time told me that their watches had a life expectancy of 4-5 years?

Terrible if you ask me! Quality issues - definitely!

Describing the symptom they said it was most likely water damaged. Hmm, It's supposed to be a waterproof watch. I wore it when sailing when it was raining (before that I've used it hundreds of times swim exercising without any problems...)

Decided to move to another brand now after having 4 different Garmin forerunner models fail on me to quick... Bye bye Garmin, never again!

I have the same problem - the screen seems to have died this morning after recent update July 7
