Recover invalid FIT file

Can anyone help please?

My watch went flat just as i was saving a run, now its says invalid.

I've tried a FIT file fix thing i found online but it says its in use elsewhere and doesn't work.

Yes, going to need the file though.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Also are you using a Garmin Bounce? That watch is specifically for children.

This will work. Was this a ride or a run? Came out to a 5 km ride - CCO90617-fixed.fit

Fixed using Fit File Repair Tool. Some suggestions to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files:

Sync your watch then remove all activity fit files from the device using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
Please report back here when you encounter corrupted files again
